Schools 

Students within Belfair will attend schools within the North Mason School District. Within the city limits you can find a co-op preschool as well as Belfair Elementary, Sand Hill Elementary, Hawkins Middle School as well as two high schools, James A. Taylor High School and North Mason High School. Additionally, Belfair is home to the North Mason Homelink Program which offers an alternative learning style for students in grades K-12. 

Nearby 

Easily a local favorite within the area, the Mosquito Fleet Winery is home to some of the best wines in the northwest and boasts a tasting room, store, and captains club, ensuring that you can either stop by for a glass of red and a charcuterie board, or choose to join the fleet and immerse yourself in all the winery has to offer year round. While the town of Belfair is small, there is no shortage of both quick serve and dine in restaurants within the area. Local mom and pop shops line the streets and Theler Wetlands Trails provides stunning views of the nature and wildlife that also calls Belfair home. The Taste of Hood Canal Festival is an annual event that is hosted within Belfair and is both a local favorite as well as an event that draws in tourists as well as residents of neighboring communities.

Belfair is home to primarily single-family homes; however, you can also find a handful of manufactured and mobile homes with the area, many of which provide large lots with mature foliage. Smaller single-family homes and manufactured homes can be found within the low to mid $300,000’s whereas larger homes, many of which boast beachfront living with their own docks and beaches can easily exceed $1 million. While the low to high range does seem drastic, the average home price within the area is just above $400,000 making the area affordable for many.
