Bremerton Naval Shipyard WA Homes & Real Estate
The Bremerton Naval Shipyard, commonly referred to as the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, can be found across the Puget Sound lining the shores of Bremerton. The Shipyard is the largest naval shore facility within the whole Pacific Northwest and has been in use since the late 1800’s. A unique feature of the Shipyard is that it runs a Ship-Submarine Recycling Program and as the only facility within the U.S to maintain certifications to recycle nuclear ships nearly 25% of the shipyard is dedicated to the program. In addition to the views of the naval ships, the Bremerton Marina, as well as Port Orchard skyline, you can also enjoy stunning views of the Sinclair Inlet where you can enjoy watching the ferries cruise by.
